Caragum International is an owned family company business and was founded in 2000 by Mr Jean-Claude TUR, it's general director. It is specialized in the manufacture of customized food stabilizer systems. The main raw material is the Arabic gum, which represents 50% of the annual turnover.
Today the activity, consist in perfecting, producing and marketing hydrocolloids (plants and seaweeds extract and resins). The company only uses natural products. Caragum imports raw material mainly from west Africa & Asia. Thanks to a performant production unit, Caragum makes its own gum blends; in order to obtain and to be able to offer a wide range of products for the food industry.
Caragums' products are exported worldwide on a daily basis. This activity rests on a well organized network of both Agents & Distributors. We have recently tapped new markets in Eastern and Central Europe.
Exports represent 90% of Caragum's turnover, a strategy that will be followed up over the coming years.
